Communication PowerHouse offers a variety of educational programs to support our clients and their families. During therapy appointments, our speech-language pathologists communicate with parents and caregivers about the targeted goals, skilled intervention strategies, and progress of the child. We also conduct re-evaluations every 6 to 12 months to assess growth and progress over time and establish a new baseline for the next skills needed. These re-evaluations are critical for insurance coverage and prior authorizations for services. We provide education for parents through verbal explanations, developmental milestone data, written reports, and handouts. Additionally, we offer group classes and webinars to educate parents and caregivers on specific topics related to communication skill development. Our education programs are tailored to the needs and requests of our clients and community members. Any education services provided outside of therapy sessions are priced separately and require opting-in and pre-payment.
