Jennifer Tate is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist with 20 years’ experience. Jennifer received her master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from The University of Memphis and her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Jennifer has spent her career focusing on adolescent language, Augmentative Communication and community-based therapy. She has worked in both the public-school setting and private practice. Jennifer has presented nationally at the ATIA conference and at the state level for NCACA, NCDPI and NCATP. She is also a past president and Honors Recipient of the NC Augmentative Communication Association. She is currently the Lead AT Specialist for Guilford County Schools and a service provider with CPH. Jennifer is also a co-founder of Camp REACH, a summer camp in Guildford County for children and young adults with Augmentative Communication needs. She lives in Summerfield with her two children, Maggie age 14 and Henry age 10. If you can’t find her doing speech therapy, chances are she is on a soccer field cheering them on!
