Wendi McMillan

Wendi McMillan is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist with 30 years of experience. Wendi received her Master’s degree in SLP at UNC-Greensboro and her undergraduate in Speech Pathology and Audiology at Southeastern Louisiana University. Wendi has had the privilege of working as an SLP in a variety of settings, including private practice and public schools with all ages. She has specialized training in the areas of augmentative communication and works mainly children with significant disabilities. Wendi is also the co-founder of Camp REACH, a summer camp in Guildford County for children and young adults with Augmentative Communication needs. She is the past president and Honors Recipient of the NC Augmentative Communication Association. Since retiring from Guilford County School as their Lead AT/AAC Specialist, she has worked as an AAC evaluator at our evaluation center. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Tim of 33 years. Her boys, Alan, in the army and Hayden, in college, are off exploring the World. Wendi has a love of all this Italian, especially history, food and wine.
